What the model does
Atlas is the research agent. It retrieves primary sources and writes first drafts: articles, conference narratives, and the answers in search. It is not a general chatbot, and it is not a substitute for reading the document it cites.
What a person does
A published page that makes substantive claims has a named author or editor, listed in the author directory. That person is accountable for the page. The editorial policy is the standard they work to. Template pages disclose that their facts were filled from a structured source.
A live search answer does not wait for that review. If you need a sentence you can stand behind, open the citation or use a published page. Report a published error on corrections.
What we will not say
We do not say that student chats are used to train a foundation model. The privacy policy describes what we collect and that we do not sell student information. It does not promise a model-training exclusion beyond that.
