Greece’s security council (KYSEA) approved a roughly €4 billion package: a multi-layer air and drone defense system (partly to be supplied with missiles from Israel) and an upgrade for 38 F-16 jets. The package also includes upgrades to four MEKO 200 frigates and a maintenance deal for C-29J transport aircraft. The defense minister highlighted continued collaboration with Israel on the Achilles Shield defense dome. This follows a parliamentary committee’s prior approval.
