Using country profiles for MUN prep
A country profile is the starting point for any MUN research session. Use it to understand:- Your country’s fundamental interests — A country’s foreign policy priorities are shaped by its history, geography, and economy. The profile makes this explicit.
- Who your allies are — Regional blocs, treaty organizations, and bilateral relationships tell you who to approach first in the committee.
- Who your opponents are — Countries with opposing interests or historical tensions will need more sophisticated diplomatic handling.
