When to use incognito mode
- You’re exploring a sensitive topic and don’t want it in your history
- You’re testing Atlas’s capabilities and don’t want test queries cluttering your research history
- You’re on a shared computer
Turning incognito mode on
Click the ghost icon in the bottom-left corner of the search bar. When it turns active, you’re in incognito mode. The search bar will show a subtle indicator. All searches in that session will be private. Toggle it off to resume saving history normally.Incognito mode applies to the current search only — it doesn’t retroactively hide previous searches. Searches already in your history stay there.
