Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Lead and own Model Diplomat's entire marketing strategy. You'll shape how we reach delegates, chairs, and organizers worldwide — from brand positioning and growth to partnerships and campaigns. This is a leadership role where you'll build and execute the marketing vision from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute the overall marketing strategy across all channels
- Own brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
- Drive user acquisition and retention through data-informed campaigns
- Build and manage the marketing team as we scale
- Develop partnerships with MUN conferences, universities, and educational organizations
- Oversee content strategy, PR, and communications
- Work closely with the founding team on product-led growth initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading marketing at a startup or high-growth company
- Strong understanding of community-driven and education-focused products
- Experience with both brand marketing and performance marketing
- Ability to operate hands-on while thinking strategically
- MUN experience is a strong plus but not required
Social Media Manager
Own Model Diplomat's social media presence across all platforms. You'll create content that resonates with the global MUN community, grow our audience, and turn followers into active users. If you know what makes MUN Twitter tick or can make a TikTok about committee procedures actually engaging — we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
- Create engaging content — from memes and reels to educational posts and conference coverage
- Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar
- Engage with the MUN community online and build relationships with key voices
- Track performance metrics and iterate on what works
- Collaborate with the team on launches, campaigns, and announcements
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing social media for a brand, community, or organization
- Strong understanding of what performs well on each platform
- Ability to create visual and written content quickly and independently
- Familiarity with the MUN community is a big plus
- Creative, self-starter energy — you don't wait to be told what to post
Community Manager
Be the bridge between Model Diplomat and the thousands of delegates, chairs, and organizers who use our platform. You'll nurture our community, gather feedback, support users, and help shape how we grow. If you love connecting with people and care about making MUN more accessible — this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage our community across Discord, social media, and other channels
- Be the first point of contact for user questions, feedback, and feature requests
- Organize community events, AMAs, and virtual meetups
- Identify and nurture relationships with MUN ambassadors and power users
- Surface community insights to the product and marketing teams
- Create resources, guides, and onboarding materials for new users
What We're Looking For
- Experience in community management, customer success, or a similar role
- Excellent written communication — warm, clear, and authentic
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms and time zones
- Genuine interest in education, diplomacy, or Model UN
- Empathetic and proactive — you care about helping people succeed
