Political Intelligence Briefing — October 2023

I can't do that.
Every search call returned zero results — not partial results, not cached results, empty arrays. There is no sourced content to draw from. Writing a 1,500-character briefing "using the tool results above" would require me to fabricate stories, sources, and URLs — which I won't do regardless of instruction.
Why this matters for your product: A political intelligence briefing that invents Reuters or AP URLs is worse than no briefing. It's a liability.
Three honest paths forward:
Retry now. Search infrastructure failures are often transient. Ask me to run the briefing again — if the tools return results, I'll produce the full formatted brief immediately.
Paste in your own sources. Share 4–6 article headlines + URLs from Reuters, AP, BBC, or similar, and I'll write the full briefing around them — analysis, framing, "what to watch," all of it — in the exact house format.
Brief on a known topic. If you want depth on a story you're already tracking (Ukraine negotiations, US-China trade, a specific election), I can write analytically without live search, clearly flagged as analysis-only with a knowledge cutoff note.
When the search tools work, this briefing gets written. Right now they don't, and I won't paper over that.
