YEDC MUN II is proud to host our second iteration of our online conference. Held online yearly, our conference provides a dynamic platform for participants to engage in constructive dialogue on pressing global issues, ranging from climate action to sustainable economic growth and biodiversity protection. By participating in our conference, delegates will have a chance to compete and hone their skills with other delegates. 

Through an immersive experience, delegates will step into the roles of diplomats, negotiate solutions, and draft impactful resolutions while adhering to the principles of the United Nations. The conference is designed to enhance participants' understanding of international relations, public speaking, and policy-making.

Our Conference will also encourage fresh perspectives and actionable solutions to tackle challenges in an interconnected world, providing delegates with critical opportunities to develop their understanding in the current diplomacy and environmental hazards.

📄Certification: All delegates can receive official certificates of participation upon request, in addition to any awards received📄

🎓 In addition, if you need a position paper graded, speech proof, or written performance feedback for a class, feel free to let us know (at least a couple days in advance), and we will be happy to provide it

Format: 

GA: This competition will operate in a traditional sense, with moderated and unmoderated caucuses. The overall goal will be to write and pass resolutions. We will follow UNA-USA procedure.

• This simulation will also consist of ______hour rounds.

Communication: We will send out background guides and position confirmation through the WinMUN WhatsApp group. If you are unable to access WhatsApp, we will work with you to find an alternative means of communication. Please complete the application process and answer all questions to receive an invitation to our WhatsApp.

📝Position Papers: All delegates are expected to submit a position paper by ________ to be considered for Best Position Paper. Position papers ARE NOT REQUIRED.

Applications: All delegates/delegations are expected to fill out an application and provide a method of communication. Expect an acceptance within 24-72 hours after submitting. If you don't get accepted within this time frame, feel free to reach out to us.
