Model UN first began in Wesley College Dublin in 1997 with the first ever 'WCDMUN' held in 2008 with about 80 delegates. Since then, In 2023 we grew to more than 400 people from across Ireland, Europe and North America. Our conference is student lead with our senior students designing the rules and procedures of the debate with staff overseeing the finances and administration duties. WCDMUN is always held in Early March/Late February. 

 We welcome young people (12-19) from across Ireland, Europe and further afield to show off their debating skills and knowledge of international affairs. While also welcoming those who are new to MUN to allow them to build up their skills and learn from others in a friendly and welcoming environment. We have had schools participate from across the world including as far afield as North America.
