WaveMUN V 2025

Welcome to WaveMUN - the World's Affairs and Virtual Experiences Model United Nations Conference - hosted online from Bridgewater, New Jersey!

This Conference will be held on December 13th, 2025. Note that the date is tentative at this time. It will run from 7:15 AM to 1:30 PM New York City Time, with several breaks in between.

WaveMUN will offer the following committees:

• CRISIS - Advanced Delegates
  • Topic is not yet decided, email wavemunc@gmail.com for suggestions!
• General Assembly (Committee is not yet decided) - Beginner Delegates
  • Topic is not yet decided, email wavemunc@gmail.com for suggestions!

Important information to note:

• While a Position Paper is not mandatory, it will be beneficial and grant eligibility to earn the Best Position Paper award.
• Questions will be answered through email or through Discord (wavemunc@gmail.com)
• The WaveMUN Discord will contain all the necessary information for delegates (https://discord.gg/WVmbErWCxs). 
• This conference will not be possible without you. Please spread the word about WaveMUN across all peers.
• We plan to host a keynote speaker!
• In the event that there are not enough delegates, we will have to merge both committees
  • The committee with fewer members will join the larger one and will debate on the larger committee's topic

Topic Brief Information:

• Topic Briefs will be posted as soon as possible
• There will be one brief per committee
• Topic Briefs contain the beginning of the information you will need for your research on your topic

The following awards will be given out for each committee:

• 1 ​​Best Position Paper
• 2 Honorable Mentions
• 1 Outstanding Delegate
• 1 Best Delegate
• (These numbers are subject to change to appropriately fit the committee's size)
