About UWMUN 2025
UWMUN 2025 is a premier Model United Nations conference hosted by Àdàm Bartos and Aliya Maisara Azey Aferoo , uniquely dedicated to exploring the political, humanitarian, and legal complexities of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Taking place in the historic heart of Central Europe, our conference brings together passionate delegates from across the globe to debate some of the most pressing challenges of our time.
Under the theme “Diplomacy in the Shadow of War,” UWMUN 2025 provides a platform where young leaders can engage with the difficult questions that real diplomats face every day. From humanitarian corridors and nuclear risk to disinformation, sanctions, and the reconstruction of post-war Ukraine, our committees are designed to reflect the harsh realities of modern conflict and the urgent need for multilateral solutions.
Participants will experience:
- Realistic crisis simulations and dynamic debate in both traditional and specialized committees.
- Distinguished guest speakers from the fields of international law, diplomacy, and security studies.
- A chance to network with fellow students and future leaders, all within the vibrant academic and cultural setting of Warsaw
UWMUN 2025 challenges delegates to move beyond rhetoric, to embrace complexity, and to become the architects of peace in a fractured world.
