UABMUN 2024

Welcome back to the 4th edition of the Autonomous University of Barcelona Model United Nations (UABMUN) held from the 4th to the 7th of April 2024 at UAB University.

UABMUN Conference is organized by the esteemed secretariat each year and the Autonomous University of Barcelona Model United Nations Association (UNANIMUN). All committees and topics of discussion have been carefully prepared taking into account the different preferences of our delegates. Therefore, they will find committees in three different languages: English, Spanish, and Catalan. Indeed, it is the only MUN in the whole world to have a Catalan committee which this year is UNESCO.

This 4th edition concept is: “Thinking the unthinkable making it feasible”. In a world characterized by uncertainty, creative and multidimensional approaches are needed. While it is true that the framework in which we are operating is constraining, we also must acknowledge that we have an opportunity. An opportunity to make our voices heard, influence the system, and ideally, produce change.
