Rooted in the spirit of international cooperation and inspired by the legacy of The Hague as the global seat of justice, THIM is one of the world’s foremost moot court initiatives dedicated to nurturing the next generation of legal professionals. Designed to simulate appellate-level proceedings before international courts, THIM fosters excellence in legal research, written advocacy, and oral argumentation.
THIM convenes elite law students, professors, and practitioners from across the globe for a rigorous, intellectually stimulating experience that mirrors the complexities of modern international legal practice.

Competition Structure
- Teams of 3 Participants: 02 Oralists and 01 Researcher
- One Round of Memorials
- Three Rounds of Oral Debate: Each Round focused on a different area of law.
- Each team will present legal arguments before a panel of judges comprising practicing lawyers, academics, and legal experts.
Key Roles & Eligibility
Role | Description | Eligibility |

Moot Court Teams | Composed of 3 participants. Each team will submit a memorial and present oral pleadings in all rounds. | Law students (LLB, LLM, JD, or equivalent), ages 18-30 |
Faculty Advisors | Accompany and guide student teams; serve as liaison with organizers. | Must be at least 25 years old; affiliated with participating institutions |
Observers | Participants who prefer not to engage in oral advocacy may also attend THIM as Observers. Observers are granted full access to all sessions without the requirement to present a case. | Students and professionals from all backgrounds can participate as observers. ages 16+ |
Visa Invitation Letters
- Official invitation letters will be issued post-confirmation of registration.
- Individual Letters for team members
- Group Letters for institutions with multiple teams
- Please note: Visa decisions rest solely with the respective embassies.

All participants will receive Certificates of Participation endorsed by the THIM Secretariat and MUN International at the closing ceremony by our Guest of Honor.
