About

Welcome to Tartu Model United Nations (Tartu MUN)!

NOTE! Registration is open only for international delegates (non-Estonian citizens). Registration for Estonian citizens will open later in October.

Tartu MUN is a student-organised conference under the United Nations Association Estonia as a part of Project NextGen UN. Most of the conference is held in Estonian, however we are also opening one English-speaking committee for international delegates.

Why Tartu MUN?

- It’s a great opportunity to experience the academic environment of the highest-ranking university in the Baltics. We will also provide a tour of the main building of the University of Tartu.

- Exclusive sessions with UN experts and University of Tartu faculty are an integral part of the conference.

- We have selected highly experienced chairs and committee presidents.

- Social events are planned for every evening, which is a wonderful chance to get to know your fellow delegates as well as the city of Tartu.

- We have different packages available with meals and accommodation for all international participants. The only thing left for you is to organise your transportation to Tartu and back! Of course, if you wish, there is also the option to only pay for your participation and organise your meals and accommodation independently. There is free participation for Estonian citizens or those with a long-term residence permit in Estonia.

Who should apply?

We are open to bachelor student applicants. A preference is given to those who demonstrate previous MUN experience.

Looking forward to seeing you at TMUN!
