10th anniversary of MUN at Struer Statsgymnsaisum
Welcome to Struer Model United Nations (StruerMUN), a student-run academic conference where you can delve into the big issues shaping our world!
🌐This isn’t just a place to talk, it’s where you get to debate topics that matter, improve your public speaking skills, and dig into research, all while being in touch with other students in an atmosphere that is both professional and welcoming.
📍This year, we are introducing six committees:
First, Second, Third, Fourth, and the Sixth Committee from the General Assembly, plus the Security Council. They’ll be tackling twelve pressing global challenges—real issues shaping our world today.
The best part is that since this conference is run by students, its success depends entirely on you, the participants. Your energy and your ideas—that’s what creates StruerMUN. So come join us in October, meet new people, gain new experiences, and challenge your perception of the world around us!
🏆Awards you can win:
Best Delegate Award
Best First-time Delegate Award
Best Position Paper
This conference has grown into a proud tradition here at Struer Statsgymnasium, and we couldn’t be happier about it! An advantage of this conference is that participation is completely free!🎫
And at the moment, we're working on getting discounts to provide cheaper accommodation as well as meals. In case of any further questions, you can contact our team at struermun.contact@gmail.com
‼️This MUN conference is in THIMUN style, DRs are written on the first day and amendments are the center of debating‼️ You can find the debate outline in the Rules of Procedure uploaded in conference documents.
If you wish to represent a specific country that is not on the list, let us know in your application, or send us an email, and we can add it.
📍Position Paper deadline is the 28th of October
