Welcome to SOASMUN II, the second edition of our in-person Model United Nations Conference, hosted in collaboration with SOAS' United Nations Society, from the 5th-7th December 2025!
This year's theme, Reconstructing the Global Arena, aims to challenge delegates to consider the divisions in the international arena and how they can be bridged by engaging with lesser heard voice and nuanced opinions.
Delegates can look forward to a wide variety of committees, ranging from standard General Assembly, to Regional, to Specialised. Take a look below:
- UN WOMEN
- UN Security Council
- African Union
- Organisation of American States
- Council of Europe
- BRICS+
- Crisis
So, what do you get out of SOASMUN II?
- A 3-day MUN conference ran by the best organisers and chairs in the UK
- To debate in London, one of the world's largest and most influential cities
- Fun social events and networking - WITHOUT an extra social ticket charge
- An engaging opening ceremony, with influential speakers, and live music performed by SOAS' bands
- A goodie bag, full of loads of cool stuff
- Snacks, drinks and lunch on Saturday from one of our local partners
Our ticketing for delegates will open later in the year so make sure to keep an eye out!
