SGMUN I 2023

Dear Delegates, Advisors, and Partners,

My name is Nathan Mussetter, and I am delighted to invite you to the first Sun God Model United Nations conference. This is the first collegiate conference hosted by UCSD Model United Nations, and will certainly not be our last. The conference will be held in-person from February 10th - 12th on the gorgeous UCSD campus.

This year I hope to establish ourselves as an esteemed conference that delegates will want to return to. It is my goal to ensure that all delegates enjoy themselves and engage in a respectful debate that they can remember. A community of Model UN members who all respect each other will make all of us have a more enjoyable experience.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has created uncertainty within the extended Model UN community. We will deal with any changes that happen from this. If any changes occur, we’ll make sure that you are aware.

Our secretariat has been working tirelessly to ensure that this will be a great experience. We look forward to seeing your debates and smiling faces.
