We believe that conferences for clubs such as Model United Nations clubs, have the capacity to open the eyes of the delegates to current global issues. This helps delegates be more aware of the problems of the world, as well as enhance their skills in diplomacy, debate, and research. According to one of the Three Priority Goals APU 2030 Vision, APU seeks to increase and have “Regional Collaboration”. We believe that the RITMUNC conference embodies and aligns with those goals. RITMUN’s conference will put APU on the map for regional collaboration in the MUN sphere of high schools and universities within Japan and globally while simultaneously exposing delegates to the world in a holistic way.
