ABOUT PANMUN
The Pan Africa Model United Nations (PANMUN) 2023 summit has been designed
to be Africa’s premier event that brings together over 1500 young leaders from
across the globe to interact and engage with their counterparts from across the
African Continent mostly college and university guild presidents, high
school prefects, Rotaract and Leo clubs leaders, young people in policymaking domains from the academia, Foundations, development
practitioners, the United Nations diplomatic community, innovators and
heads of states in a three days Model United Nations simulation summit to
deliberate on issues of efficient and Inclusive Growth and enabling young
people to take the center stage of accelerating the achievement of
sustainabledevelopmentgoals.
The summit is accompanied by the Pan Africa Model United Nations Excellence
Awards (PANMUNEA) and a gala Diplomatic Dinner Banquet to celebrate leading
personalities involved in the achievement of SDGs and promotion of the Model
United Nationsacrosstheglobe.Aseriesofawardsarepresentedtoidentify,
recognize,celebrate and publicize excellence in youth transformation activities
in all forms and at all levels; these prestigious awards are for exemplary
