Attending Model UN Conferences is widely regarded as a highly enriching activity. Further, providing delegates with an insight into international politics and foreign diplomacy. During the Oporto British School Model United Nations (OBSMUN) 2022 conference, delegates will have the distinct opportunity to develop their knowledge and also, skills alongside enthusiastic delegates from around the globe!
In the majority of OBSMUN’s committees, a clause-by-clause procedure shall have ensued; delegates may prepare draft clauses and deliberate upon them during committee sessions. Thereafter voting on their adoption and formulating a final resolution with the inclusion of numerous clauses. It is with immense pleasure that they announce that OBSMUN. Further, the most international conference in Portugal is reoccurring this year! We welcome all schools and individual delegations to engage in a unique and also, enriching experience next February at Oporto British School Model United Nations 2022 (OBSMUN2022)!

Porto is a truly unique and spectacular city. Located in the Northwest of Portugal, at the mouth of the Douro River. Porto is an internationally recognized hub for tourism. Also, the city of Porto is widely known for the port wine industry and its historic center, attracting thousands of tourists every year. The city’s old town, a UNESCO world heritage site, is characterized by its impressive monuments. Further, ranging from Bolsa Palace and Clérigos Tower to São Francisco Church and the City Hall.
The event itself will be taking place in the international divison of the French Investment Bank, Natixis, in Porto. This location will be able to provide you with the best delegate experience and we are sure you will enjoy its central location. Nearby, you may find one of Porto's most prominent streets "Rua de Santa Catarina", which will lead you onto some of the most beautiful landmarks.
