Conference Overview

NOVOMUN is a formal conference during which each delegate must adopt the perspective of their assigned country regarding diverse political, military, and other types of issues, fostering the individual knowledge, culture, and critical thinking skills of each participant beyond their comfort zone. 

This specific Model United Nations conference is based on the discussion of draft clauses rather than draft resolutions. These clauses may be amended and thoroughly debated before being passed or not, depending on the number of votes against, in favor of, and abstentions it receives. All clauses that are passed by the committee are added to the final resolution, which is also debated at the end of each session.
