About

Be the change you want to see in the world!
Naples MUN invites university students from all over the world to step into the world of diplomacy and global leadership. The conference will take place in the extraordinary city of Naples, Italy — a place where history, culture, and innovation converge. Participants will engage in high-level debates, strengthen their negotiation and public speaking skills, and connect with motivated and ambitious peers committed to addressing the challenges of our time.

Our mission is deeply rooted in the idea that history and knowledge shape the expectations and hopes of younger generations. The Campania region, in the south of Italy, is home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites and offers an exceptional setting where nature, biodiversity, and cultural richness meet. Within a short distance from the conference venues, participants will have the opportunity to visit world-renowned destinations such as Naples, Pompeii, Ischia, Capri, the Royal Palace of Caserta, and the Amalfi Coast — places where centuries of history come alive and can be explored within an hour of travel.

Recently, CNN named Naples one of the top global destinations for 2025, highlighting the charm of nearby Procida, chosen as Italy’s Capital of Culture. This recognition confirms the cultural and historical value of the area, making it an ideal location for a global youth conference focused on diplomacy and sustainable development.

In 1224, Emperor Frederick II, King of Sicily and Germany, founded the world’s first public university in Naples, beginning with a faculty of law. That legacy continues today in institutions such as the University of Naples Federico II, where philosophy professor Mario Piovani once stated: “You cannot expect the university to provide universal knowledge if the surrounding culture does not possess it.”

This spirit of intellectual and cultural openness inspires us as we build a platform for youth dialogue. For years, we have worked passionately within the MUN circuit to engage the brightest students in debates on global issues, giving them the tools to become future leaders. With strong organizational experience, a deep understanding of the United Nations agenda, and a commitment to meaningful participation, we are proud to launch the first Model United Nations in Naples. We are confident that delegates will find not only a high-level academic experience but also the warm hospitality and cultural richness that our country has to offer. Local communities and institutions will welcome participants with great enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring a memorable and enriching conference, both inside and outside the committee rooms. In a world that increasingly needs cooperation and visionary leadership, Naples MUN offers a unique opportunity to shape ideas, build connections, and contribute to the future.
