MUNSA 2024

PRESENTATION LETTER

Honourable future MUNSA delegates,

It is an honor to welcome you to the fifth edition of Model United Nations Student Association, on behalf of the United Nations Student Association of Barcelona and the Secretariat Team. Our conference will take place in the city of Barcelona from the 12th to the 15th of September 2024!

Following the great work made in previous years, but with the will to expand MUNSA, the Secretariat has worked hard to offer six committees to our participants, with the aim of developing enriching discussions around each of the topics that span for four days. We are committed to provide a diversity of committees: a Special Political and Decolonization Committee, to keep the path to the decolonization process of all nations; a G-20, composed with the most powerful nations in the entire world; the High commissioner of Refugees, to defend refugee’s rights and secure them a dignified life; a European Council to bring European institutions into the conference; a Futuristic Arab League,  for those who are willing to challenge themselves by solving issues that may arise in the future in a tense region; and, finally, a Security Council, the most important international institution of United Nations. Delegates will have the opportunity to prove their cooperation, diplomatic, and negotiation skills throughout the conference as well as to create lifelong friendships with people who come from very different backgrounds and experiences. 

The countdown for MUNSA 2024 has begun, and we are expecting to meet you all another year in Barcelona. In the interim, we will continue to put all our efforts into providing an incredible experience for you to enjoy, with high hopes that this edition will be a memorable experience to share together.
