MUNOB 2025

MUNOB is a conference organised by “Mihai Viteazul” National College in Bucharest every year, which has exceeded our expectations, has improved with each and every year and has become a diplomatic gauge in what MUN means in our country.This year’s conference is the twelfth edition of the event. Model United Nations is an academic activity first organised in American Universities in the late 1940s, simulating the real bodies and activities of the then just-established United Nations organisation. These conferences aim to prepare students for future work in the diplomatic field and to offer insight into how international politics work. Students act either as delegates, representing their countries in several committees of the United Nations (e.g. Disarmament and International Security, Security Council,Social, Humanitarian & Cultural Issues,Economic and Financial Committee) or as chairs who are the moderators of the general debate.
