About

An Online MUN Conference Open to any and everyone. Whether you be a first timer or a seasoned MUNer, this online conference aims to help develop your skills in debating, diplomacy, and teamwork. Our conference will feature three committees, all with differing levels of difficulty.

UNICEF (Beginner): Protection of children from digital economic exploitation Children today navigate a rapidly evolving digital world, and despite UNICEF's advocacy for safer online environments, challenges remain: from targeted advertisements and manipulative in-app purchases to the use of child labour in digital content creation. How can we safeguard the youth against economic exploitation in a context that constantly adapts?

UNEP (Intermediate): Transition towards sustainable transports Transitioning the energy source for vehicles to less emission-heavy sources has been a global agenda, with the UN setting the "Decade of Sustainable Transport" to start in 2026. In 2023, 18% of all cars sold were electric, an important record in the transportation industry. There have also been new research initiatives to explore hydrogen fuel cells. Such advances are important as the transportation industry is responsible for more than a third of greenhouse gas emissions, and it is important to address the sector adequately to combat climate change. However, how can countries collaborate to ensure the transition to a sustainable transportation industry?

UNSC (Advanced): Situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian Question The Middle East, especially Palestine, continues to be shaped by generations of conflict and fragile peace efforts. The current Israeli-Palestine conflict remains a contentious issue internationally, and recent developments have followed the US election results. As time marches on, hopes for peace and stability are challenged by fresh issues and age-old grievances. What does true progress look like in a place where every step, backwards or forwards, echoes centuries of struggle?

If an online conference is not to your liking, we have a much more exciting in person conference that we annually hold in Tokyo International University in Tokyo every June. The in person conference will be held in our newly christened Ikebukuro Campus, located at the heart of Ikebukuro City. The events will feature a social night, an exciting opening ceremony, and a great opportunity for you to meet students from all over Japan.
