Münster University International Model United Nations (MUIMUN) is a four day-conference in the beautiful city of Münster, Germany that offers the chance to meet people from all around the world due to its internationality. In six committees, participants can get involved in thrilling debates in English as well as in French. Furthermore, we will have several exciting social events!

As a multicultural conference with a personal atmosphere, MUIMUN welcomes over 150 delegates from all over the world each year. It is a great experience for first timers but also for experienced MUNers, because it offers a unique spirit of social and international diversity tied together by the magical concept of #MUIMUNLOVE, in addition, our meticulously selected international scholars add to the conference's intercultural spirit.

May 2022 is going to be our 16th conference and will focus on global balance by working together in addressing UN mechanisms, economic, social and gender fairness to increase consciousness for responsibility power, highlighting our motto  “Seizing Opportunities - Achieving Progress and Prosperity through International Diplomacy”. This will happen in six committees, two of which will take place online and one of which will be held in French. The following committees will be present at MUIMUN 2022: the Security Council (UNSC), the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the United Nations Framework on Climate Change, the Department of Global Communications (UNDGC), the United Nations’ Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and UN Women. UNESCO will be held in French, while UN Women and the ECOSOC will be online committees.
