We are the premier annual Model United Nations (MUN) conference in West Africa. LMUN was established in 2016 by young undergraduates at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Inspired by their experience attending an International MUN, they wanted the voices of young Africans like themselves to be heard on issues of policy and development.
LMUN goes beyond simulations of UN organs and agencies. It includes SDG workshops and a social impact competition that awards project grants.
The theme for this year's conference is Enhancing Global Prosperity through Shared Commitments: Dialogue and Inclusivity as Key Tools for the Achievement of the SDGs.
