LEIRION-MUN 2026

The 5th International Leirion MUN Conference innovates by bringing a new air to MUN simulations. This year for the first time,  4 of the most important committees of the United Nations ( SC, ECOSOC, UNHCR, UNCLOS) are meeting under the main topic: “The Law of the Sea as a Pillar of International Legitimacy: Addressing Contemporary Challenges”. ©Anna Pani 2025 
Each committee will research, analyse and discuss the same topic from a different perspective. This will enable the participants to deepen and enrich their knowledge in a comprehensive way on Legal, Political, Economic, and Social Issues related to International Law of the Sea. On the last day all committees will present their resolutions in the GA, which will be then put to a general vote and the results of their work and decisions will be published in a book by Leirion Publications. Dear MUNers, As it is well known, the Leirion MUN Academy specializes in conferences with a small number of committees and a small number of participants. This is because we want to offer each student the opportunity to actively participate in the simulation from the beginning until the end of the conference. Active participation is the key for any individual to develop their skills and enrich their academic knowledge. By attending Leirion MUN conferences you will be offering yourself a true academic journey and a strong curriculum.
