About

Latin America Future We Want Model United Nations is established as a Regional Model among all the other existing Model United Nations (MUNs) in Latin America. It aims to gather students from the five continents offering a higher-level atrium of confrontation and debate between culturally-diverse leaders. It is hosted in partnership with the Universidad del Rosario and the English School of Bogotá.

Bogotá is the capital and largest city of Colombia. The city is located in the center of Colombia, on a high plateau known as the Bogotá savanna, part of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes. It is the third-highest capital in South America.

The conference will focus on the significance of youth voices from a plethora of backgrounds, in not only understanding, but implementing the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda, at all levels of the decision-making process. Participants are provided with a deep understanding of the United Nations, the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda, all while engaging in several learning activities in a very interactive way.

Latin America FWWMUN aims to guide participants in developing their critical thinking skills which will further enhance their decision making and public speaking ability. We ensure the youths are able to develop profound knowledge on issues critical to the UN agenda and can contribute to shaping the future we want.

At FWWMUN delegates will gain insight into the workings of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other international bodies and national cabinets.
