IRCMUN 2025

2500 years after Democracy was born, not more than 1 km away from the Pnyx, the Areopagus, the Ancient Agora and the Acropolis itself, the places where debate was established and the foundations of modern democracies were created, we decided to start our own MUN conference in order to ensure the common good and give a voice to everyone. 

Teachers, graduates and students from two middle schools and a high school located in or near the centre of Athens joined our forces in order to enable every student to consider views others than their own, and to give them the floor to discuss and attempt to provide solutions to issues that the modern world is facing. 

Last year, we managed to organize an MUN conference in which one hundred and twenty delegates from eleven local schools took part, something which was received with great enthusiasm. This year, we desire to increase our scope and size and therefore we invite middle or high schools from all over the world to join us. We aspire to spread the MUN culture to more schools and give a chance to more and more students, whether experienced or not to be a part of the fascinating world of international diplomacy.

What we guarantee is devotion and love to what we do, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, thought-provoking topics, high quality debate, and lots of fun! 

What we anticipate is that everyone will have an unforgettable experience and that long lasting bonds will be formed!
