Introduction
IMERC 2024 isn’t just another conference. This dynamic, one-day event focuses on International Medical Ethics and Research, providing delegates with an immersive experience in understanding complex healthcare issues. Participants of all levels will leave with a participation certificate, enhanced debating, speaking, and writing skills, and a deeper understanding of Model United Nations. IMERC aims to foster dialogue on key healthcare topics, such as clinical trial ethics, emerging medical technologies, and health equity, while upholding the highest ethical standards in medical research.

Schedule
Following a brief opening ceremony, delegates will participate in smaller Zoom sessions lasting 45 minutes, with a 5-minute break given after 20 minutes. In these meetings, they will collaborate in groups, engage in debates and speeches, draft resolutions, and work towards finalizing their collective proposals. After all committee sessions conclude, a closing ceremony will take place.
The awards that will be handed out include a Best Delegate Award, Honourable Mention, Best Position Paper, Best Journalist Award, Best Chair Award, and Certificates of Participation handed out to all delegates. Delegates will leave this conference with valuable certificates and experience that will prepare them for future successes.
