Year after year, graceful and generous, a withered tree in spring, living up to expectations, grateful for the time that never gave up on us, we will soon usher in the 14th Henan Youth Model United Nations Summit. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read the first round of announcements. Here, all the members of the current Secretariat express their sincere greetings and heartfelt thanks to you!

Model United Nations is a healthy, active and highly educational activity for students. Model United Nations activities can enhance students' understanding of the structure, procedures and functions of the United Nations organization, promote their understanding of current major international issues, and enable them to look at issues from an international perspective. The development of Model United Nations activities is conducive to improving the students' ability of organization, planning and management, research and writing, public speaking and debate, conflict resolution, seeking common ground while reserving differences, the ability to use English, communication and other skills.

Since its launch in 2010, the Henan Model United Nations Youth activity has successfully held one international summit, 13 provincial summits and eight Model United Nations debates. Our province has selected more than 800 outstanding students to participate in the International Model United Nations Summit held in New York, Geneva, Rome and Harvard University.

To further publicize and introduce China's proposals, wisdom and solutions, and contribute China's wisdom to the building of a more just and equitable new international order; To promote the expression of globalization, enhance people-to-people exchanges, better show China in the new era to the world, and let the world listen more to the voice of China, the 14th Henan Province Youth Model United Nations activity will carry out a series of activities under the theme of "expressing China's voice, providing China's solutions, demonstrating China's wisdom" and "Showing a credible, lovely and respectable image of China".

"It is necessary to cultivate high-quality preparatory talents who integrate Chinese and Western cultures, attach equal importance to wisdom and personality, and have both international vision and local feelings. Under the premise of internalizing and solidifying local feelings, it is necessary to cultivate students' international vision, global consciousness and tolerance, realize the integration of Eastern and Western cultural advantages, and create a large number of preparatory talents who can successfully participate in international competition and international cooperation."

What is forgotten is called years, what is left behind is called history, what is washed away by years is called dross, and what is enduring is the glory of history. The secretariat and all the members of the bureau will carry the excellent history of previous provincial summits, and bring you an excellent experience of MUN. Finally, I wish all teachers, parents and colleagues of MUN good health, smooth work and academic success. I wish this Model United Nations Conference a complete success!
