GVMUNC III 2024

Greetings international delegates,

Welcome to the second-ever Global Virtual Model United Nations Conference (GVMUNC), hosted on July 27th, and based in Bridgewater, New Jersey! Join us for the day as we introduce ideas, debate solutions, and finally implement resolutions. Participate in a growing international community of diplomacy and discussion, and prove your skills as a Model UN delegate.

For this iteration, GVMUNC is offering delegates the option between four committees:

1. United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) - Beginner - Delegates in this committee will represent one of 195 different countries, and discuss improving education In indigenous groups and bridging the digital divide in developing countries. 
2. International Labor Organization (ILO) - Intermediate - Delegates in this committee will also be able to choose between 195 countries, and they will discuss protecting the rights of migrant workers, and addressing the impact of technology and automation on employment.

We would highly encourage beginners to join the specific beginner-oriented committee since it will be a more relaxed environment, where as the intermediate committee will be more competitive and for delegates who have experience. 

Each committee will have four awards, as follows:

• Best Research and Preparation - 1
• Honorable Mention - 1
• Outstanding Delegate - 1
• Best Delegate - 1

Note that a position paper, while not required, is strongly suggested for award eligibility. Delegates are expected to research their topic thoroughly, starting with the provided topic briefs, and prepare for committee.
