About

The Garden Town International Model United Nations (GTIMUN) Conference 2024, organized by BGTI, Pakistan, is set to be a premier event bringing together young delegates from across Pakistan and beyond. Scheduled from October 18th to 20th, 2024, at Beaconhouse Garden Town, Lahore, this conference is dedicated to fostering diplomacy, enhancing speaking skills, and providing a comprehensive understanding of global affairs.

Event Overview: GTIMUN 2024 is an immersive three-day conference where delegates will engage in discussions, debates, and negotiations on pressing international issues. The primary objective is to inform and empower young minds about current world affairs while offering them a platform to propose solutions to global problems. With the success of the previous three editions, we are thrilled to return with the 4th edition, promising a more enriching and impactful experience.

Committees: The conference will feature six distinct committees, each focusing on critical global issues:

  1. United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
  2. Disarmament and Security Committee (DISEC)
  3. Special Political and Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL)
  4. Crisis Committee
  5. United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW)
  6. Pakistan National Assembly (PNA)
  7. Social Cultural and Humanitarian Committee (SOCHUM)

Participation: Delegates from schools and universities across Pakistan and internationally are invited to participate in GTIMUN 2024. The conference aims to create a diverse and inclusive environment where young leaders can exchange ideas, develop their diplomatic skills, and form lasting connections.
