Model United Nations (MUN), also known as Model UN, is an educational simulation of the United Nations. During MUN conferences, students act as UN delegates, engaging in negotiations, discussions, and debates—see activities fundamental to UN operations. Typically, high school and college students partake in MUN by simulating UN committees like the General Assembly, Security Council, and UNICEF. Through MUN, students acquire insights into global issues, cultivate diplomatic skills, and deepen their comprehension of the UN’s work and principles. It's worth noting that many current leaders in law, government, business, and the arts participated in Model UN during their student years. 

8 reasons why GSFMUN is THE BEST: 

1. Free of cost: Participants will not have to pay to take part in this MUN. 

2. Convenient dates: The MUN will take place on the 9th and 10th of November, which is a weekend.

3. Excellent Executive Council: The executive council of this MUN is exceptionally supportive and available to answer any queries at all times. 

4. Committees and Agendas: Important for global advancement, yet easy to research, to ensure that delegates do not face any challenges. 

5. Awards: All participants will receive participation certificates, and special certificates will be awarded to the Best delegate, outstanding delegate, honorable mention, and special mention delegates customized with their names and titles. 

6. Briefing sessions: Training/briefing sessions will be provided before the MUN, considering the convenience of the delegates.

7. Diversity: Participants will have the opportunity to meet and interact with people from different backgrounds and regions.

8. Skill Enhancement: This MUN will help enhance communication skills, diplomatic negotiations, public speaking, and much more.
