About

Get ready to dive into the exhilarating world of diplomacy—where chaos meets order and every voice matters! GALMUN 2025: “Freedom within Borders” returns bigger, bolder, and truly international for the first time ever, and we want you to be part of the action.

For four unforgettable days, you will witness history unfold at our Opening Ceremony in the Bulgarian Parliament, rubbing shoulders with distinguished guests of honour. Feel the buzz of anticipation as the gilded halls set the stage for debates that will challenge your wit, your poise, and your passion for global issues.

Day two brings you to the heart of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski,” where fierce debates await. Navigate the delicate balance between individual liberty and national sovereignty, craft last‑minute amendments, and deliver persuasive speeches that can sway the entire committee. Expect fiery resolutions, strategic alliances, and the thrilling chaos of diplomacy in full swing.

On day three, you’ll conquer chaos and wield order as you negotiate with delegates from every corner of Europe. Forge friendships over compromise, challenge authority with well-honed arguments, and push for creative solutions that embody “Freedom within Borders.” There’s no greater rush than the moment you see your draft resolution adopted by consensus!

We’ll culminate our journey with the General Assembly together with a Closing Ceremony, where the best speakers, brightest thinkers, and most ingenious resolutions take centre stage. But the diplomacy doesn’t end when the gavel drops. Outside the conference rooms, GALMUN’s social program will consist of a cultural tour of Sofia, networking mixers, and a surprise evening event—designed to turn fellow delegates into lifelong friends.

Sofia awaits you, delegates! Pack your passion, bring your boldest ideas, and prepare to experience the true freedom of debate. Bulgaria's most dynamic MUN is calling—will you answer?
