FREIMUN 2025

We are excited to welcome you (back) in the sunniest city of Germany for the third edition of FREIMUN! Join us for an inspiring conference filled with challenging debates and an unforgettable social program!

This year’s conference will be centred around the global theme “Uniting Today for a Peaceful Tomorrow.” Today’s world is full of uncertainties and challenges, but these can only be addressed though collective action. By fostering cooperation and dialogue, we can build a more peaceful and secure future for all.

What to expect?

Over the course of this three-day conference, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into the world of international relations and diplomacy across five diverse committees. FREIMUN is open to participants of all experience levels, with committees tailored for beginners, intermediate, and advanced delegates.

Following the success of last year’s U.S. House of Representatives Committee, we are thrilled to announce that FREIMUN25 will feature a U.S. Senate Committee! You’ll also have the chance to engage in debates on current security issues in our NATO Committee, travel through time in the Historical United Nations Security Council Committee. For those new to MUN, we’re excited to offer two beginner-friendly committees: explore the peaceful use of outer space in COPUOS, or dive into global education and cultural cooperation in UNESCO.

And after a full day of debates, unwind and connect with fellow delegates at our socials! Freiburg, a vibrant student city in southern Germany, provides the perfect backdrop for our social program. This year you can look forward to the FREIMUN Fun Night, which will be the perfect opportunity for you to discover the city of Freiburg and connect with your committee members. On Friday evening we expect you to dance the night away in your fanciest outfits at our open-bar gala d'été!
