About

Important: The conference is free, and is online.

Welcome to the Discover Model United Nations Africa Conference of 2024.

We're a little bit different from other conferences.

We are a free virtual Model UN conference that aims to bring together young leaders from around the world to engage in meaningful discussions and negotiations on global issues. But unlike other free conferences, we offer a high calibre of academic and conference quality that is only expected in large conferences that is held in person.

Since our founding in 2021, we have connected over 7000 youths from over 160 countries on just our first conference. We are seeking to expand that sense of impact to people of even more demographics, which brought us to DMUN Africa, a conference focused on accommodating more youths residing in the Africas, breaking the barrier of timezones.

Our leading vision is equity, which is at the forefront of all our efforts, as we believe that every individual should have equal opportunities and access to resources, regardless of their background.

We believe that by creating an inclusive and diverse platform, we can foster a culture of understanding and cooperation, and pave the way for a more equitable future.

With this, we ask you to join us in our revolution inside Model UN, creating greater accessibility inside the circuit, every delegate at a time.

DMUN Africa 2024, provides the participants with 5 diverse committees, that allows beginners and the people who have aced model united nations to put in valuable thoughts into the concerning worldwide topics.

All committees offer four awards for all the delegates:

  • Best Delegate x1
  • Outstanding Delegate x1
  • Honourable Mention x1
  • Verbal Commendation

Rules are shared in the document section.

Feel free to reach us out by any mode for any questions.
