The Cairo International Model United Nations has been held at the American University in Cairo for 28 years and this will be its 29th. The conference teaches young adults in university about the world around them and how to speak up for their rights in all current situations! It helps young politicians and non politicians to experience having a voice in a smaller version of the United Nations. It has been attending the New York MUN competition held between many models and for 7 consecutive years has won the award for 'Outstanding' and last year took the 'Most Distinguished' award as well!
