CEMUN 2025

Dear delegates; it is our privilege to welcome you to the first-ever edition of the Central European Model United Nations conference, to be held between the 31st of January and 2nd of February 2025 in the Grand Hotel Łódź in Poland. We warmly invite you to join us in our venue’s recently revitalized historic halls, and experience a truly remarkable and unique conference, tailored to the high expectations of aspiring diplomats from Poland and the world alike.

🕶️ A conference created by MUNers, for MUNers: Created by passionate diplomats, debaters, and leaders, all experienced and knowledgeable in the many aspects, intricacies and traditions of MUNs; CEMUN is guaranteed to meet (and hopefully exceed) all expectations of likeminded young diplomats, and will be organised specifically to offer an educational and entertaining experience to both experienced MUNers and delegates hoping to make a strong entrance into the MUN community.

🇪🇺 At the heart of Europe: Located at the heart of Europe, CEMUN brings together delegates from Poland’s flourishing MUN community and ones from outside Poland, allowing participants to engage in valuable discussions with peers from vastly different cultural backgrounds and with varying perspectives and opinions; linking together the political thought and ideas of the continent’s youth, as well as forging powerful connections and friendships between participants.

🎓 Highest-quality academics & procedures: The CEMUN Secretariat is committed to conducting efficient and realistic proceedings in all committees, encouraging delegates to tackle both real and abstract problems with logic, reason and wisdom, and have to that end cooperated with the PGA’s of TriMUN ’23 & GDNMUN ’24 to create the conference’s Rules of Procedure, ensuring the highest level of quality.

 🪑 The most experienced chairboard in Poland: The chairs of CEMUN ’25 have the highest average number of MUN’s attended, committees chaired, awards received, and past conferences organized of any conference in Poland! They will make sure that the debates on CEMUN are not only interesting & entertaining, but also of the absolutely highest academic level. 

🏨 Historic Venue: Originally opened in 1888, the Grand Hotel Łódź has recently undergone extensive renovations bringing it up to the highest modern standards. Featuring beautiful classic interior design and architecture, as well as fantastic dedicated conference space, we could not be happier to confirm the Grand Hotel will be the home of our conference.

📰 Press Corps: CEMUN will be the first conference in Poland to feature an International Press Corps committee, where aspiring journalists and experienced delegates looking for a wildly different way to experience MUNs will represent press outlets (Like The New York Times or Fox News), reporting directly from the conference and covering committee proceedings as well as social life at CEMUN. Their work, in the form of articles and in-person interviews with other delegates, will be available for all to read on the conference website; and will actively influence proceedings by holding delegates accountable, as well as commenting upon ideas and promoting solutions among the delegates of the conference.

Payment Information:

Pay the delegate fee only AFTER being accepted to receive your assignment. Applications are assigned each Wednesday at 20:00, and you will be assigned during the nearest assignment session after you pay.

Delegates paying before 22.11 pay the Early Fee (120zł). Delegates paying before 27.12 pay the General Fee (190zł). Delegates paying from 26.12 until the payment deadline pay the Late Fee (220zł). 

The payment deadline is 22.01.2025. All applications that do not make a payment by then will be rejected. 

CEMUN does not offer delegate fee refunds!
