About

BEIMUN, short for Beirut Model United Nations is an Hybrid Simulation of a United Nations Conference, organized by Lebanese high schoolers who shared a profound passion and intrigue for MUN. While this idea started off as a scrap and simply for fun, it came to life towards mid-June of 2023 and has been developing and growing ever since. it came to life towards mid-June of 2023 and has been developing and growing ever since. Announcing its first hybrid edition in February 2024 was a game-changing step in the lives of the Team and applicants, creating community of knowers who share the same enthusiasm and commitment as we do, each one of them adding their own touch of experience and creativity to our project to present to you the BEIMUN that you know of today: a successful, hybrid conference for all age groups to put themselves in the shoes of politicians, diplomats and organizations, sharing their love for diplomacy through heated head-to-head debates, informative opening speeches, and applicable resolutions to the biggest problems our planet is facing, initially leading to the destruction of all the lives of habitants on Earth.
