"Darkness cannot drive out Darkness , only light and reformation can make a brighter future " : Martin Luther King Jr.

In tandem with the same , the Official theme of Baldwin Model United Nations 2019 first edition is :
" Vision 2020 : Reforming the International System for a New Century " .

From the changing climate on our planet, the increasing influence of non-state actors in international affairs, and the great technological developments that are currently ongoing in almost all spheres of society, the 21st century is already posing a lot of new questions. This, in turn, raises the question in what ways the system of international decision-making has to change in order to come up with appropriate answers to these questions. Now is the time to be creative, and also to dare to dream about a brighter future for international cooperation ! BIMUN aims to sensitize our youth on these pressing issues, paving way for them to become the catalysts of change.

The BIMUN 2019 makes the beginning of the Baldwin International Model United Nations Conference under the Baldwin Society. We believe Model United Nations is a plethora of Diplomacy , International foreign Policies and a platform for countries resolving global issues with international cooperation. BIMUN brings together young, ambitious visionaries from all over the India who can find new paths and new solutions to overcome contrary international ideals and national interests.

With an Overwhelming combination of 10 Committee's , BIMUN 2019 strives to make holistic impact on the society and provide an enthusiastic arena for delegates to Discuss, Debate and Resolve issues with relevance to current world scenario's . BIMUN 2019 will host a variety of dynamic and riveting committees with agendas as relevant and significant as the theme. From unconventional committees like the German War Cabinet 1939- Blitzkrieg and Tokyo Peace Summit 2030, to the more prosaic committees like the UN Security Council, BIMUN 2019 will cater to the needs and interests of first-timers and seasoned munners alike. Each committee will tackle challenging issues that haven’t been satisfactorily addressed in the real world, necessitating innovative and out of the box solutions on the part of the young minds attending the conference.

Hold your hearts for the First Edition of a dynamic mun in Bangalore circuit , the Baldwin International Model United Nations to be hosted by Baldwin International School on 6th, 7th and 8th December 2019. We look forward to hosting you !
