Aix MUN 2024

Aix ONU is honoured to welcome you to this year Aix MUN !
Taking place at the renowned institution of Sciences Po Aix, under an ever sunny weather,
it is an excellent opportunity to develop your diplomatic skills and your interest on
international matters !

Our student association, which will be turning 10 years old this year, will host the debates
with professionalism, passion and in a friendly spirit.
It will be accessible to a variety of people :  from MUN’s professionals to beginners, they will all find a country to represent in one of the four committees, one of them being in French. We are certain that one of the following
topics is the one for you :

● Security Council : “For a stabilisation of the conflict in the DRC (Democratic Republic of the Congo)”
● UN Women : “Restoring women’s access to education in Afghanistan”, in partnership
with Mauvais Genre, the feminist association of Sciences Po Aix
● United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) : “Governance in Outer
Space”
● Conference of Parties (COP) : “La création d’un fond universel pour les pays affectés
par le dérèglement climatique”, in partnership with the APNA, the environmental
protection association of Sciences Po Aix

Participants are welcomed to attend the opening ceremony on friday 22th of november
2024 at 6pm, which will be followed by a cocktail where you will have the possibility to
meet the guest speaker and the participants of the MUN. On Saturday 23th and Sunday
24th the debates in the different committees will take place, as well as the social night on
Saturday. We will formally end this conference with the closing ceremony, where the chairs
will announce the award’s winners.
