Building reputation: Conference organizers and other teams notice consistent performance. A team that wins awards at the same regional conference 3 years running builds a brand. This leads to invitations, partnerships, and stronger recruitment.

Budget reality: Travel conferences are expensive — registration, hotel, transportation, food. Smart teams fundraise, apply for delegation discounts, and sometimes choose a great regional conference over a prestigious but costly national one. Cost per learning opportunity matters.
