Stakeholder Engagement Evaluation
How to measure whether your stakeholder engagement strategy is working and systematically improve it.
What Gets Measured Gets Managed
Most stakeholder engagement strategies are never evaluated. Teams invest significant time and resources in mapping, planning, and engaging stakeholders, but never ask: did it work? This gap exists because stakeholder engagement outcomes are harder to measure than, say, financial returns or project milestones. But difficulty is not impossibility.
Without evaluation, you cannot learn. You repeat approaches that failed and abandon approaches that worked, simply because you never measured the difference. Evaluation also creates accountability — when engagement success is tracked, teams take it as seriously as they take technical performance.
