# The research desk behind every great delegate.

Other AI invents UN resolutions. Model Diplomat cites the real one — every line linked to the resolution, vote, or treaty it came from. For Model UN, debate, and anyone who takes politics seriously.

France has consistently supported the Sudan sanctions regime under S/RES/1591 1 and pairs it with humanitarian-access language 2. Expect it to push civilian-protection clauses while backing renewal of the Sudan sanctions panel under S/RES/2679 3.

## What you’re wondering.

The questions we get asked first.

The AI research engine, not just reading: 200 searches on day one and 50 more every day after, answered by the same cited engine as Pro. The daily 50 refill each day rather than stacking up. Every Learn course and lesson, Discover, briefings, and country profiles are included. Pro removes the daily cap and adds document drafting, deep research, file analysis, and automations — see /pricing.

No. Model Diplomat is retrieval-first: it searches an index of treaties, UN votes, cables, case law, and peer-reviewed work before it writes a word. The retrieval pipeline cannot cite a document that is not in its index — so every footnote points to something real you can open.

Citation-first by design: answers link to primary sources you can open and verify, and the product is built for research and drafts you read and rewrite — not ready-to-submit essays. Teachers and conference staff use it the same way they expect a library catalog or database.

They answer from an open-web model; Model Diplomat answers from an index of the primary record — treaties with their ratification history, UN roll-call votes, declassified cables, court reporters, official datasets. A general chatbot can describe a resolution it has never read. This one has to find the document first, and shows you which one it found.

It's a workspace. Group everything for a conference, essay, or case into a Project; run more than one piece of work at the same time; start from a template (country brief, position paper, crisis prep); and keep your sources, drafts, and notes together — not scattered across chats.

A sourced morning briefing on what's actually happening in the world — the signal, with the primary record behind each item, so you stay current without the endless social-media scroll.

Primary documents are first-class: treaties and their ratification records, UN voting records, declassified cables, court reporters and case law, official statistical datasets, and peer-reviewed scholarship. Each source carries its type, date, and a confidence score, and you can open the original.

Anyone who has to make an argument about the world and stand behind their sources — Model UN and debate delegates, AP and IB students, teachers and coaches, and the analysts, journalists, and seriously curious who live in this material.

Standard accounts include 200 searches on day one, then 50 a day, plus every Learn drill, Discover story, and country profile. Pro is the one paid plan — monthly and annual billing, priced by country. See /pricing for the number in your region and how Pro billing works. School and team plans are available on request.

Model Diplomat is a web app: it works in any modern browser on a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop, with nothing to download and the same account everywhere. To open it like an app, add it to your home screen. On Android, open Chrome's menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen; on iPhone or iPad, tap Share in Safari, then Add to Home Screen.
