3rd International Conference "Landscapes Across the Mediterranean (CrossMED)" is a professional and academic conference held in Alexandria, Egypt on November 25, 2026. Participants present research findings, engage in scholarly discussion, and network with colleagues working on Mediterranean landscape topics. The conference format typically involves paper presentations, panel discussions, and knowledge exchange among academics and professionals in relevant fields.

## Why it matters

For students or early-career attendees interested in regional, environmental, urban, heritage, or interdisciplinary landscape questions, this conference offers a chance to engage with a Mediterranean-focused professional setting in person.

Because the event is centered on landscapes across the Mediterranean, it may be especially relevant to delegates looking to connect place-based research, policy, design, history, or conservation perspectives in a cross-regional context.

## How to prepare

Start by reviewing major issues connected to Mediterranean landscapes, such as environmental change, urban development, heritage preservation, land use, and regional cooperation. Since no committee list is provided, broad subject familiarity will help you adapt to the event’s actual sessions and discussions.

It would also be useful to prepare a concise overview of your own interests, research, or questions related to the Mediterranean region. For an in-person professional conference, bringing a clear sense of what you want to learn, discuss, and network around can make attendance more productive.
