Swiss Moot Court 2026/2027 is a college-level moot court competition held in Luzern, Switzerland, running from September 14, 2026 to February 28, 2027. Participants prepare written and oral arguments on assigned legal cases, presenting before judges who evaluate their legal reasoning, case analysis, and courtroom advocacy skills. Teams compete through multiple rounds, refining their briefs and oral performances based on judicial feedback.

## Why it matters

For college students interested in advocacy, legal reasoning, and courtroom-style argument, a moot court offers a practical setting to develop and demonstrate those skills in person.

Because this event spans several months, delegates should be ready for a sustained preparation cycle and an experience that rewards organization, research, and clear oral argument.

## How to prepare

Start by strengthening the core skills that matter in moot court: close reading, case analysis, structured written argument, and oral advocacy. Practice turning complex legal materials into clear positions supported by authority and logic.

It is also helpful to build a preparation timeline early. Since this event runs from September 2026 through February 2027, delegates should plan for steady research, drafting, revision, and oral practice over an extended period.
